We are a Social Club serving both Members and the local Community . We also help raise funds for local Charities.
We offer a friendly, relaxing atmosphere and have a variety of facilities and activities to enjoy.
Live Music, Quiz night, Bingo Night,, Skittles, a large 3 table Snooker Room, Restaurant, Pool table, Dart board and Games Room
ABOUT US
Welcome,
Preston (Paignton) Conservative Club officially opened at 4.15 pm on Wednesday 16th January 1929.
Our Club is located on Torquay Road, Preston, Paignton, Devon and situated next to a large payable Council car park.
We support Local Communities with events and raffles to help raise funds for various Charities and good causes. With the assistance of our Members and fund raisers we donated £1,000 in 2025 for Rowcroft and helped raise funds towards Southwest Blood bikes.
We offer a friendly, social and relaxing atmosphere and offer a warm welcome to everyone. We have a variety of facilities and activities and events happening throughout the week for everyone to enjoy.
Although a Members Club we feel it is important in serving our Local Communities, supporting Charities helping to raise funds. A local place to bring everyone together, socialise, create new friendships, enjoy the facilities, live entertainment and events.
As a Member, during the day why not pop in for a catch up with your family, friends, colleagues. Tea and Coffee is available throughout the day along with light refreshments.
FACILITIES
Our bar is well stocked with a wide selection of beers, including local brands as well as lagers, a variety of wines (which can be bought by the glass or bottle) An assortment of spirits, liqueurs and a variety of flavoured Gins.

- We have a pool table located in the bar
- Watch your Sports on our 75" TV in the bar area
- A dart board
- Long alley skittles held in our function room
- Our refurbished restaurant provides:-
- Traditional Sunday Roasts
- Friday's Fish & Chips and a varied menu to suit all.
- A varied 'basket' meals menu, is available during Quiz nights, Bingo and Live entertainment nights.
- All occasional events can be catered for by our Chef Gary.
- A large snooker room with 3 full size snooker tables situated upstairs
- A large function Room for all Parties, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings and Wakes.
- A smaller room for smaller gatherings, meetings, training events, baby showers etc

- Gaming machines in the bar area
- Mobility access for upstairs via chairlift

Sunday Roast from 12 - 1.30pm - check with bar as to which meats are on the menu and pre-book with bar staff (we also cater for Vegetarian and GF).
Once a month is Karaoke - 2pm - 5pm (Join in the fun and have a go - no experience required)

MEMBERSHIP
Here at the Preston Conservative Club we are happy to welcome new members. Enjoy a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere, access recreational facilities and participate within the Community. There are so many advantages of joining us.

- Inter Affiliation Card (optional) This will give you entitlement to visit all Conservative Clubs throughout the UK
- We offer Temporary Membership per week (ideal for those on holiday)
COMMITTEE
The Committee consists of members who give up their time to help manage the Club’s affairs.
The Committee manages the framework on which the Club operates, and makes informed decisions on behalf of Club members. Our Club’s Goal is “to provide a Social Environment that encourages membership contentment, growth, value for money, and futurity”.
- Ultimately, the Club is managed by you – for your benefit.
